This is a Mk5 Cortina Muscle with a V6 3 litre engine.

The engine has alloy rocker covers and a lightweight sump.

The engine is mated to a Toyota Hilux 5 speed gearbox and transfer box.

The box then drives prop shafts to both the front and rear diffs.

The Pickup runs on six stud 15" rims and has 31 X 10.5 X 15 Bridgestone desert dueler tyres.

The bakkie has good off road capabilities and if it has one problem it is a lack of articulation of the axles. Otherwise It can keep up with the landies.

Mike uses the vehicle at the weekends as it is an interesting change from the regular car.

The vehicle has triple shocks on the front at each side which mount to the top of the axle and at the top to the fabricated chassis.

The vehicle has a bull bar (roo) and a rear bar with towbar at the rear.

The interior is as standards with a bench-seat and sports steering wheel & has leather trim
